Impulsive Iterations

This artwork captures impulsive creativity with 9 months and 400 iterations on a single 6ft canvas. Each idea lead to multiple backgrounds that were painted and photographed, resulting in a compelling visual representation of the creative process.

A Record of Process

Every time a new idea hit, Michael painted right over what was already there instead of starting a fresh canvas. Rather than losing all those earlier versions, he took a photo before each repaint, so the finished piece is really a timeline of 400 "what ifs" instead of one single final work. It's less about that final image and more about showing people what it actually looks like to create something when your brain won't sit still.

“this work for me showcases the beauty of impulsiveness” -REINWALD
